Water Main Break
This carpet supplier had a water main break in their warehouse. The water main break was so strong it busted through the concrete floor creating a large hole around the piping. It flooded the entire warehouse causing large rolls of carpet to be relocated or discarded. We needed a water truck and a large generator to finish up this job. There was also an attached office that was affect.
Is your commercial facility at risk for a water main break?
As the weather turns cold, water main breaks become more common. This is due to the expansion and contraction of the pipe material, weakening it. Pipe corrosion, soil conditions, age and ground movement can also cause a water main break, creating unexpected problems for business owners and customers.
