Looks Easy to Clean? Probably Not!

Smoke damage can cause items in rooms unaffected by fire to also see damage. When soot is wet it becomes a greasy film that can stain even non-porous surfaces. When cleaning furniture that has been effected, you must first use a dry sponge. Of course, our SERVPRO dry sponges aren't your normal household sponge. they are about three inches thick and have some weight to them for easy smoke damage removal. We then clean the item with SERVPRO orange. SERVPRO® Orange is a general-purpose cleaner/degreaser specially formulated to assist in general purpose cleaning. SERVPRO® Orange contains a natural solvent that is extracted from the peels of oranges, which gives the product a wonderful fragrance of freshly squeezed oranges while cutting grease and protein-based soils.
