Hurricane Work
This is a large home along the gulf coast of Florida that experienced the storm surge from a hurricane. This home had approximately 12" of water throughout. This house was built in the 1960s and is a frame structure. It had been remodeled several times through the years so we ran into challenges with multiple layers of drywall and flooring. We removed affected wood flooring and discover that there was tile flooring under the wood. The wood was glued to the tile and when we pulled the wood floor up the tile floor came with it. We removed affected drywall, wall tile, and cabinets. Once demolition was complete we also had to dry the structure.
