Bathroom Leak Causes Ceiling Damage
In our profession we see a lot of slow leaks cause damage and destruction to homes. They happen so slow that it causes damage to the internal structures before it is seen through drywall and the structures they hide behind. However once found they reveal issues that need to be handled immediately or mold is bound to grow. In this case, in upstairs bathroom had a leak in a vanity which caused a slow leak through the ceiling below. It is extremely important that we determine whether or not the water damage effected the floor joists or the subfloor. In this case, the water had not effected the integrity of the floor itself and dried unharmed.
